“Crazy Diamonds” : A special show for Chopard

On May 16th the sublime and impertinent dancers of Crazy Horse Paris, the most avant-garde of all Parisian cabarets, will perform at the annual Chopard Cannes Film Festival party.

This year’s party is entitled “Happy Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” and will take place at the Martinez Hotel.

In keeping with its reputation the celebrated French cabaret has concocted a mini show called “Crazy Diamonds”.

For this occasion, it will present one of its most recent acts : “Take My Love”, created by Crazy Horse Paris choreographer and dancer Patricia Folly.

The costume was designed by renowned creator Alexandre Vauthier, the shoes by Christian Louboutin and the precious embroideries by La Maison Lesage.

A very specific know-how

Whereas Chopard is renowned for creating exceptional jewelry and watches and hosting fabulous parties, Crazy Horse Paris detains a very specific know-how : presenting women in a most unique, sensual and sophisticated way through distinctive, artistic creations.

Andree Deissenberg, Managing Director of Crazy Horse Paris explains : « Crazy Horse Paris dancers, with their evocative stage names and flawless talent and beauty, present universal moments of seduction and temptation…they are the jewels of our shows. »

« It is the goal of both Chopard and Crazy Horse Paris to promote beauty and seduction through their specific know-how and creations », adds Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director at Chopard, about this first collaboration.

Crazy for 60 years !

The performance of « Crazy Diamonds » coincides with the 60th Anniversary of the Parisian cabaret. In May 1951, Alain Bernardin opened the original venue and developed a unique signature style through unique shows that combined artistic avant-garde, femininity and a dose of humor.

In addition to the 60th Anniversary of the historical cabaret in Paris, in 2011 the company will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of its second permanent cabaret in Las Vegas and the launch of its first international touring production. Keep posted on events to come!
