Crazy Horse Paris puts on a show at Chaillot

On September 24 and 25, Crazy Horse Paris electrified Chaillot – National Dance Theatre—to kick off the Cabaret Season. During these exceptional evenings, which highlighted the diversity of cabaret art—featuring iconic venues, must-see performers, and alternative stages—and celebrated a heritage spanning more than 150 years, Crazy Horse Paris showcased three iconic acts from its repertoire: “But I’m A Good Girl” “Miss Bisou,” and “Baby Buns.”

True to the artistic DNA of cabaret, these three productions celebrate a free and confident femininity through dance, lighting, costumes, and staging that is at once glamorous, daring, and tinged with humor. From the sweet and festive interlude of “Miss Bisou” to the explosive energy of the legendary “But I’m A Good Girl”—covered by Christina Aguilera in the film “Burlesque”—to the retro-chic and mischievous charm of “Baby Buns” these acts embody the creativity and signature style that have defined Crazy Horse Paris since 1951.

A unique experience!

On September 26, Crazy Horse Paris invited the public to unleash their “Crazy Spirit”!

An immersive experience that offered a glimpse into the secrets behind the iconic attitude of the Crazy Horse Paris dancers.

Pia Petitpas, an iconic dancer with the troupe, led a 45-minute introductory session—open to everyone and free of charge—on the fundamentals that define the cabaret’s signature style: confidence, elegance, stage presence, and freedom of movement.

Through exercises focusing on posture, gait, and eye contact, participants learned to build their self-assurance and project their presence naturally. The session continued with a short choreography, allowing participants to explore the movement and rhythm that characterize the dancers of the legendary Parisian cabaret.

Open to everyone, “Crazy Spirit” is an invitation to step outside your comfort zone and discover how a few gestures, a posture, or a glance can transform the way you carry yourself, move, and present yourself to others.
