Crazy Horse Paris welcomes two new dancers!

They have oodles of sparkle and glamour, bodies brimming with tone and grace, and they dreamed of one day joining Crazy Horse Paris: let’s give a warm welcome to Tina Tobago and Kika Revolver!

A love for the stage and for Crazy Horse Paris

It was on the parallel bars and the gymnastics mat that the sublime Daniela, aka Tina Tobago, first made her appearance in earliest childhood with her curly mane, her plump lips, and her toned and supple athlete’s body. After a career as a gymnast, the young woman became a Latin dance teacher while earning her degree as a surgical nurse.

As for Kika Revolver, the exquisite Fleur, it was dance – first ballet, then modern – that gradually shaped her graceful and well- defined body and that led her to travel to China to pursue her passion for cabaret, singing and acting. Her finely chiseled face, at once naughty and impish, reminds you of a graceful lily.

Both are now realizing a beautiful dream: of joining the troupe of Crazy Horse Paris and becoming one of those legendary dancers, odes to femininity and freedom, who make the identity and fame of Crazy Horse Paris.

A demanding but fascinating learning experience

To be able to incarnate glamour and sensuality, Woman in her purest essence, there is a subtle balance between the innate and … lots of hard work. When it comes to beauty, Daniela and Fleur have it all. But now they need to learn how to become that quintessence of femininity that both represents and makes the identity of a Crazy Girl.

By repeating “U turn me on“, the iconic finale of Crazy Horse Paris, reprised in the show “Totally Crazy“, Fleur and Daniela discover all the technicality and intensity of the work demanded by stage director Svetlana Kostantinova. And if the dancing is an ode to femininity, the interplay of glances is also at the heart of what makes the dancers of Crazy Horse Paris unique.

Curves, movements, and winks: nothing is left to chance for transcending the woman into her emotions and her personality. Daniela and Fleur are blossoming with delight – it’s a true pleasure to see.

The famous hip sway and the arched back: the signatures of Crazy Horse Paris

It is now the time for Fleur and Daniela to work with the other dancers: this time it’s not only the choreography that gets worked on, but also the vision of the team and the management of the lighting effects.

Enny Gmatic, amazing Crazy Girl and one of the dancer captains, welcomes the two new recruits into the very closed circle of those who inspire fantasy and who embody “all that is beautiful in a woman”: the dancers of Crazy Horse Paris.

And today, it is the iconic hip sway of the Parisian cabaret that the two young women need to assume as their own in the act “Vestal’s Desire“: a complex technique, a specific working of the hips with dissociated movements… all while making sure to align with the lights down to the millimeter.

Make-up lesson: enhancing the face

Being a dancer at Crazy Horse means being a woman down to the tips of your eyelashes. If the hip sway and pace is Svetlana’s domain, it is the captain of the dancers Mika Do who accompanies the new recruits in their first Crazy make-up. The goal? A doll’s face, an intense look, and a strongly assertive personality.

In the expert hands of Mika Do, brushes, false eyelashes, eye shadow, and blushes are magic instruments that enhance the beauty of the two girls, transforming them into Crazy Girls, with doe eyes and red mouths.  And here they are, ready to bewitch the audience!

Tina Tobago and Kika Revolver make their début!

It is a Crazy Horse Paris tradition: the baptism of the stage name of the dancers takes place on the evening of their first public appearance. Bye-bye Daniela and Fleur, hello Tina Tobago and Kika Revolver! A moment full of emotion, and shared with the other dancers, which truly marks the entrance of the two recruits into the house.

The stage début, long-awaited, finally takes place on the same evening for the two young women. Somewhere between stress and euphoria, they experience the live stage, the costumes, the audience… the glamorous dream that is now a reality.

Don’t delay – come see them today!
