THE SHOW “DESSOUS DESSUS “
On the occasion of its 65th anniversary, the famous Parisian cabaret gave carte blanche to the icon of lingerie, Chantal Thomass, inviting her to take on the artistic direction of the cabaret for a spellbinding show entitled “Dessous Dessus”. The first ever “Guest Creator” in the history of Crazy Horse Paris, following the renowned choreographer Philippe Decouflé in 2009, and the famed creator of the celebrated red-soled shoe, Christian Louboutin, in 2012, Chantal Thomass dresses the legendary Crazy dancers in lace and garter belts… only to better undress them!
The High Priestess of chic lingerie, together with the choreographer Stéphane Jarny and the Crazy Horse teams, has created a festive, intoxicating, playful and feminine show with 5 new not-to-be-missed acts: “Reine de Coeur”, “Rose de Versailles”, “Striptease-Moi” (conceived by Stéphane Lucas), “Double Trouble”, and the sublime finale, “Dessous Dessus”, which quotes Crazy Horse Paris classics, revisited with Chantal Thomass’s own creative codes.
“Crazy Horse Paris has a worldwide reputation and the show will be seen by lots of people, so I do feel the pressure. But I’m excited by the challenge,” Chantal Thomass confessed to Paris Match during the creation of the show. She more than met the challenge. With “Dessous Dessus”, Chantal has made everyone crazy about Crazy Horse Paris.
