A shower of stars at the Crazy Horse for the Queen of Glamour!

Between March 15 and 30 2016, the sublime Dita Von Teese set the Crazy Horse stage on fire every night in “Dita’s Crazy Show.” A total of 33 exclusive, sold-out performances thrilled more than 8,500 spectators, some coming from far and wide to see this extraordinary show.

Fifteen intense days of emotions that began with a preview evening full of rhinestones and sequins, in honor of the “Souffle de Violette” program from the Ereel Endowment Fund, which supports women with cancer. Big names from the world of entertainment and fashion, among many more, all rushed to applaud the Queen of Glamour and the Crazy Girls on the famous Crazy Horse Paris stage: Tim Burton, Monica Bellucci, Cara Delevingne, Florence Foresti, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexandra Lamy, Azzedine Alaïa, Kristen Stewart, Alexis Mabille, Tal, Sonia Rolland, Titoff, Xavier Niel, Sebastien Tellier and many others… came to pay tribute to the talent of the American star on the night of March 15th.

“Teese’ing”, “Le Bain”, “Peek a Boo”… All the numbers starring Dita Von Teese sparked a wave of excitement throughout the room. The one-of-a-kind act, “Undress to Kill”, specially created for the occasion by Ali Mahdavi and design studio D/Labs, dazzled audiences with its technical prowess.

“The truth is, tonight was the first time I’ve ever been completely naked on stage; it’s something I never do. It’s a very peculiar feeling and I admit I was rather nervous”, revealed the star backstage after her first appearance in this new number – composed entirely of light projection customized to her body using video mapping techniques. It was a stress no one could see and which quickly disappeared thanks to the audience’s warm support.

“I was right up close to the stage and it was perfect, dazzling, uplifting, sensual. I have to say that tonight was the must of musts”, gushed Jean Paul Gaultier after the show.

Thank you to the public, to the fans of Dita and to the distinguished guests such as the singer Mika, who wanted to discover the American star, thank you for being there every night and having contributed to the success of this event. These were nights of passionate applause that delighted the Crazy teams, and which, above all, touched this most famous of burlesque artists.
